It's a big year in 2022 at Rollins with lots of new faces around the place and lots of familar ones returning. What a better way to get to know our staff than by reading their responses to some random questions .

What’s your job title?
Grade 6 class teacher
What’s the most exciting part of your job?
I love that every day is different. From excursions and sports days to teaching kids to read. I relish the opportunity of getting to know each student in my class and having fun with them.
What was your first paying job?
I love netball so as soon as I was allowed I started umpiring matches for pocket money.
What kind of music do you like?
Pop- 80s and 90s are the best!
What’s your favourite food?
Chocolate- any and all types.
What’s your favourite movie?
The original Star Wars trilogy and the Harry Potter series.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
Not particularly- maybe being super competitive even in games of Uno and Monopoly.
Do you have any pets?
A naughty beagle named Henry.
Are you a sports fan? Who are your favourite teams?
Yes I’m obsessed! I go to all the Cat’s matches, love netball and will watch and play most sports.
Are you a coffee or tea person?
Neither!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An actor.
What’s your least favourite chore around the house?
All of them! Cleaning the bathrooms.
What’s your favourite season?
Summer
What’s your favourite thing to do on the weekends?
Watch my kid’s sports, go to the AFL, read books, watch movies and spend time with family and friends.
What was your favourite subject in school?
English and Sport

Dog!
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
Invisibility
If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?
Photo app, Netflix and Apple Watch app.

Office Administrator
What’s the most exciting part of your job?
Everyday is different! You never know who, what or why someone is coming into the office/sickbay. Can be something sweet like meeting a new favourite toy, or something more serious like a playground injury.
What was your first paying job?
My first paying job was at the local supermarket as a Check Out chick. This is where I met my husband.
What kind of music do you like?
Ed Sheeran. I do have a soft spot for old school Hanson

Fairy floss

Toy Story and The Sixth Sense
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I do have a small business on the side making balloon garlands. Check out balloongarlandsbymeagan (cheeky plug)

9 guinea pigs, 5 chooks, 2 fish, 1 pony, 1 cat and 1 dog
Are you a sports fan? Who are your favourite teams?
AFL yes, Go Cats!!
Are you a coffee or tea person?
Coffee in the morning, then tea, then Espresso martini. So I guess both?
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A Zoo Keeper or to join the Mounted Police force.

I find deciding what to cook for dinner and then having to cook it a chore.
What’s your favourite season?
Summer. Love warm humid nights on the deck.
What’s your favourite thing to do on the weekends?
I love watching my kids play sports on the weekend. I'm like a Cheshire cat on the sidelines haha

PE

Depends on the breed. But I would say I'm more a cat person.

To make peoples worries disappear
