Clean Up Australia Day

This year Charlotte and I, the Sustainability leaders, as well some other Year 6 leaders took the Year 4s to the beach around Clean Up Australia Day with the help of the Port Melbourne Beach Patrol to get rid of the pollution on the beach.The Year 4s had a great time and hopefully want to do it next year. As well as cleaning up the beach they learnt a couple new things about Port Phillip Bay.

HUNTER MCLEAN  - As one of the Sustainability Leaders I think we should do this and other things like it to clean up and repair the damaged ecosystem that lives in Port Phillip Bay.

CHARLOTTE KATEIVA - As one of the Sustainability Leaders I think that the Year 4’s enjoyed the experience and hope to do it next year. I hope they learnt a lot more about the environment and will take more pride in the planet than they already did.
