Harmony Day

Music, food, fun

In tune on Harmony Day

ON Tuesday, 21 March, staff and students celebrated the huge diversity of nationalities that make up our College. Special thanks to Fr Peter who celebrated the Liturgy, which was followed by the national costume parade.

We also had a multicultural quiz, boomerang dot painting workshop and multicultural music. Students and staff had their food ordered from one of the following cuisines: Australian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Burmese, Singapore & Malaysian, Italian, Middle Eastern, Indian and Japanese for their lunch. I would like to thank all the caterers who supplied 797 lunches of various cuisines for the international food feast in our school.

Harmony Day also included a visit by a group of students from Japan, see the video:

Special thanks to Mr Singh who organised the turban tying stall during lunch time.

I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to all of you who made Harmony Day a resounding success. Your effort and dedication made the celebration truly unforgettable.
