Our Community Day

Student Curriculum Leaders News - Kiara & Alex

Hi All, 

Our names are Kiara and Alex and we are two of the Curriculum leaders at St. Fidelis. 

On Sunday, we attended the school community fete day. It was a great day. Some of the things that we enjoyed were the market stalls, meeting people from the small local business and of course the food the waffles and fairy floss. Many of the children enjoyed hands-on activities such as the Petting Zoo, the Fun Bus, the Chocolate Toss, Decorating the Pot Plants and the original carnival game, the Duckpond.”

We have interviewed some students from Year 1/2 in the Junior School and here are some of their responses:

“I loved the Fun Bus because there were lots of cool obstacles and they had monkey bars inside the bus!” Eva 

“We loved the Ice cream, hairspray, the fun bus, lolly shop  (confectionery stall) and the petting zoo…. They were the best part of the day!”Asha  and Tess

“I loved getting my hair coloured because my hair was actually green, my favourite colour!” Orlando 

“ I loved the fun bus because you got to do lots of different things on it” Sebastian 

We had a great time and got to see our community come together. We can’t wait for the next community day!
