Whats been happening in the 3/4 Classrooms

The Grade 3 and 4 students have been learning about different types of disabilities as part of our integrated unit on Social Justice. We have been exploring the organisations and aids that support people with disabilities, what it is like to live with a disability and the criteria for good rules and laws.

We were lucky to have Mrs Dalton from Swan Hill Specialist School to help us learn about Auslan.  We learnt about different ways that people can communicate and learnt how to introduce themselves using Auslan. Mrs Dalton will be joining us over the next few weeks so we can continue to learn more signs. We can’t wait!
