JUNIOR'S CELEBRATE HARMONY DAY 

Across the whole school this week, we are celebrating Harmony Day! Harmony Day, which is observed each year on March 21, celebrates diversity, aiming to foster inclusiveness, respect and the idea that people of all different cultures can make a valuable contribution to society.

 

 

In the junior classrooms this term we have been focusing on how to be kind and how to be a good friend and this ties in perfectly with this year's harmony day theme of “Everyone Belongs.” To celebrate this special week we have discussed what it means to be a kind member of society. We made harmony day paper hearts where the students got to draw what harmony day looks like and brainstorm ideas of how they can be inclusive, kind members of our school and .
