Our Latest Cook Off

When The MECS parents and grandparents do a cook-off we do them well! The aroma of pasta sauce, curries, Zucchini slices and soups fills the air within walking distance around our food tech room. We made over 100 meals for members of our community when they need them. This time around, along with our faithful Parent helpers we also had a number of students from Year 6 to Year 9 who helped grate, chop, stir and cook which cut down our working time considerably. 

 We do our cook-offs twice a year so if you think this is something you could  be involved in please let me know. Alternatively if you know of someone in our community who could do with a meal or you yourself could be blessed please reach out to me. jtaylor@mecs.vic.edu.au
