Secondary Tribal Swimming Carnival

Last Wednesday, the Secondary students all headed down to Croydon Pool to enjoy the good weather and some great sportsmanship. Cloud cover kept things comfortable and the rain held off. This day was full of swimming and novelty events, which students eagerly enjoyed. Highlights of the day from students included the walking lane and the novelty races in which swimming ability was not necessary. As students competed there was a great sense of pride as they were able to represent their tribe for the first sports event of the year.

Fashion on the field bought many different arrays of costumes, including a team of cricketers, Bluey, an inflatable suit and a whole range between. Students enjoyed celebrating the creativity of the day.

Throughout the day VCE students enjoyed tribal volleyball matches, and finished off the day with a staff v students match in which students took out the first win of the year.

Students also competed against the teachers in a freestyle relay in which the teachers narrowly missed the win again. Well done to the students for taking the win.

Congratulations to everyone involved in events and for participation.
