The Plastics Project is Finished!

We have finally concluded our plastics project that we undertook with a grant from VCAA last year. 

With support from Precious Plastic Melbourne, our students were able to learn about recycling hard-to-process materials such as milk lids. These lids were shredded and extruded to make plastic beams. We partnered with Central Ringwood Community Centre, and Aurora School to donate these benches. Students levelled the ground and poured concrete slabs to allow for permanent installation.
