Meet the Fern House Year 12 SRC!

Hello, my name is Mithun, and I am studying Year 12 this year. I am excited about all the new leadership skills that I will be learning as a SRC and how I can use these skills in the near future. I will be using these new leadership skills in my career path and with other extracurricular activities. 

Relating to our House charity, the SRC Fern team has decided to raise money for RizeUp. The mission for this charity is to drive awareness of domestic family violence within society.

In Term 1, we have learnt about each other and have created relationships with one another. Some strengths that this team has are positive energy and great brain-storming skills. We went around the Year 7, 8 and 9 classes and asked them to write something meaningful for International Women's day. Currently, we are planning to do an event for Easter. After working through a few great ideas, the team has decided to do an Easter egg hunt with clues and codes. We are already making plans for the Eid events at the start of next term, such as running a workshop where we will make origami lanterns.
