Meet the Callistemon Year 12 SRC!

Hi everyone! I am Bahara S, the Callistemon House Year 12 SRC Representative for 2023. Being Year 12 SRC is a great pleasure for me, as I can engage more with students and teachers, and run different activities in Callistemon House and all over the school, along with other SRCs. 

Term 1 was an amazing term for the whole school, as we had the Swimming Carnival happening. Congratulations to Hakea House for taking first place, and congratulations to Callistemon House for coming in third. Well done to all the students who participated in the swimming competition! 

We did an Icy Pole fundraising on the 23rd and 24th of March for the Malala Foundation. Malala and Ziauddin Yousafzai founded the Malala Foundation in 2013 to champion every girl's right to 12 years of free, safe and quality education. They support girls who miss out on their secondary education in countries such as Lebanon, Afghanistan, Tanzania, India, and many more. We will continue our fundraising next term as well. Besides fundraising activities, we are also planning a joke and art competition.
