Meet the Banksia House Year 12 SRC!

Hi, my name is Ben and I am the Year 12 SRC for Banksia House. Our main goal for 2023 is to raise money for our social service charity, Tour de Cure. Tour de Cure is an Australian charity that raises money to fund cancer research, support and prevention programs. 

This term, the Banksia SRC representatives were able to walk around the school on Mondays and Fridays selling lollipops. We in Banksia have a lot of ideas to keep building a positive community and are looking forward to making the most out of Term 2. We plan to implement activities like games, raffles and sports, where we can bond and really build on skills and interact with others that we may not usually. 

We will continue to focus on our Community Commitment in order to make Banksia a safe and happy place for everyone. Wishing you all a restful holiday, and I hope you all enjoy the break. We look forward to welcoming you back in Term 2!

Banksia 10 Character Strengths

Our Year 10s have been working collaboratively to determine character strengths and attributes that can help them be and feel successful both at school and in their home/work lives. This group are expert collaborators and are showing great insight into their understanding of the SEL goals.
