Basketball Champs!

The Avocardios, a basketball team made up of DHS staff and friends stormed to glory on Sunday 2nd of April when they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat to win the Grand Final for their Summer Mixed division. The team play on Sunday evenings and have shown massive improvement since their first season together, honing the skills of several “non-basketball players” and training them up to be their deadliest shooters. In the finals, the Avocardios faced intense competition from their opposition but managed to secure the game with a precision 2-point shot in the dying seconds of the game. Congratulations to everyone who played – it was a great match!
