2023 Fair

Hear ye, hear ye!

You may have heard RPS is running an Old School Fair this year.

Save the date! It will be on Saturday November 18th, 2023

The last one was in 2019, and we are very much looking forward to getting the fair up and running again.

If you would like to be involved in helping to plan and run the fair, then come along to our next meeting which is to be held on Thursday March 23rd, at 7pm. The more the merrier.

We would also like to make our first request!

We will be holding the world-famous cake stall, which also sells:

• Preserves
• Jams
• Pickles
• Chutneys

NOW is the time of year people make jams, pickles, chutneys etc.

SO our first humble request is…

If you, or anyone in your family, neighbourhood, or friends is a prolific jam, pickle, chutney or preserve maker, we would love you to set aside any extras for us to sell at the cake stall. You will need to hang on to these until November when we collect the cakes, but if you can, we would be extremely grateful. 

In the school garden last week there were enough green tomatoes to make some pickles. How exciting!

All ingredients will need to be listed on the jar, as well as the date it was preserved.
