Morning tea following the Classroom Helpers Training Session on Friday 10 March 10-10.45 am
We invite those attending the Classroom helpers session to join us for a cup of tea or coffee and a chance to chat to other parents and carers after the training. This is an opportunity to ask any post-session questions.
The Harmony Day School Picnic
Harmony Week is an annual national celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. Orange is the colour of Harmony Week and this year’s theme is ‘Everyone Belongs’ and it’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Tuesday 21 March is the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and we’re hosting an after-school picnic from 3.30-5.30pm. Bring a picnic rug and after-school snacks, wear something orange, and join us on the grassketball court to celebrate our wonderful school community. We will have some treats and crafts for sale, music to get everyone into the mood and some fun activities for the whole family, including a juggling and bubbles workshop, old fashion games, human bingo, and a craft activity. Remember, all children must be accompanied by a family member or carer, age 16 or over.

About the P&F Association
The role of the Parents and Friends (P&F) Association is threefold:
· to encourage and build community amongst families within our school through events and activities
· to provide support for the school, its students and community, including raising funds for the benefit of the school
· to work in cooperation with the principal, staff and school council in building effective partnerships between home and school
