Hoodies for Homelessness

Wear a hoodie and make a change in your community

On April 20th, or Youth Homelessness Matters Day, we recognise the 28,000 young Australians who experience homelessness on any given night.

Homelessness can cause a huge strain on anyone’s life, but especially for young people, who are often still in school, and were pushed into their position by events and actions that were out of their control.

These young people can be anywhere from on the streets, to couch surfing at friends’ houses, but they are all still without a home, and need your help.

So, this Youth Homelessness Matters Day, we need you to wear a hoodie and donate to the Hoodies4Homelessness cause to make a real change in your community.

HoMie are a local organisation and clothing brand that aim to provide work experience and education to young people who have experienced or are experiencing homelessness and have already helped over 1,500 young Australians with their programs.

Now, working together with Whitelion, they created Hoodies4Homelessness, a way for anyone to show their support for this cause and help stop youth homelessness in Australia

So, by registering and donating before April 20th this year, you can help us reach the goal of 28,000 people wearing a hoodie for homelessness and help put an end to youth homelessness in Australia.
