EISM Victorian Sport Association Competition

Earlier in the week, our Kilvington swimmers represented the EISM at the Victorian Sport Association Competition (VSAC).

The EISM competed against all the Independent Sporting Associations across Victoria and placed 3rd overall out of the 15 Associations.

Once again, there were some great performances from our athletes:

  • Liam Molloy - 1st 100m, 3rd Medley Relay, 3rd Freestyle Relay, 4th Open Relay, 4th Backstroke Back Stroke Relay
  • Greta Saville - 3rd Freestyle, 3rd Freestyle Relay, 4th 100m Freestyle, 7th Medley Relay, 7th Butterfly
  • Annie Steele - 2nd 100m Freestyle, 4th Butterfly, 4th Breaststroke, 5th Freestyle Relay
  • Ben Huang - 1st Medley Relay

(Unfortunately, Henry Kiosoglous could not compete due to COVID protocols). Each event had 15 competitors, so these are wonderful results. Congratulations everyone!

Senior Girls Basketball

We had fantastic results from our Senior Girls Basketball B team, who were runners up in the recent EISM Premiership. The team had a strong season and were very competitive against the Huntingtower team.

Well done on a terrific effort. Thank you to coach Ms Burns.

Senior Girls Hockey

Congratulations to our Senior Girls Hockey team who were runners up in the Premiership.

The girls had an amazing season, only losing to the Premiership winners Plenty Valley Christian College.

What makes this even more special is the many Year 12 students who have been with coach Mrs Ryan all the way from Year 7! Well done!

Senior Boys Table Tennis

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Table Tennis team who took home the Premiership at the EISM Summer Season.

The team were unbeaten throughout the entire season, a fantastic performance!

Congratulations to coach Kaitlyn Truong and the competition’s MVP, Jude Teo.

EISM Division 1 Athletics Carnival

Well done to the 105 Kilvington students who represented Kilvington at the EISM Division 1 Athletics Carnival on 5 May at Lakeside, Albert Park.

Kilvington placed 6th on aggregate at this premier event. Kilvington also won the 16YO Boys Age Group.

There were many amazing individual results across the day, but the comradery, teamwork, support, enthusiasm and effort on display from our students was the most pleasing to see.

There will be a number of KGS students who will progress to the EISM Champions Meet on Tuesday 24 May. Details will be released at a later date.
