School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)

School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) is a framework that develops positive,

safe and supportive learning cultures. SWPBS Framework is evidence based and aims to:

  • increase time focused on instruction
  • increase respectful and positive behaviour
  • improve social-emotional wellbeing
  • enhance positive and respectful relationships among students and staff
  • increase adoption of evidence-based instructional practices
  • provide a predictable learning environment with improved perceptions of safety and increased attendance

SWPBS is a school-wide framework that promotes social, emotional, behavioural and          academic outcomes for children and young people. At St Anne’s College, all members are expected to uphold the three core values which are: respect everyone and everything; always do our best, and help others succeed. These expectations are explicitly taught across the college. The values are core to everything we do and all we are at St Anne’s College.
