ASX Schools Sharemarket Game
The ASX Schools Sharemarket Game is a fun way for students to learn about economics and the sharemarket in Australia.
Students receive a virtual $50,000 they can invest over a 10 week period, in over 200 companies listed on the ASX. The prices students buy and sell at are the same prices as they would get in the live market, so this is as close to real life share trading as you can get.
The game can be part of a school subject or an extra-curricular activity offered to students. It is free to play and as a bonus students can win great cash prizes.
The next round runs from 10 March – 19 May. Registration closes on 14 April. Teachers must register on behalf of students.
