Student Voices

The Student Voice Action Team student’s have been working hard this term to develop their leadership skills! They have been meeting each Thursday and have completed various projects to help improve our school including:
- Organising Cross Country and raising morale with House Chants
- Decorating our front fence in support of Cultural Diversity Week
- Running PMP sessions with the Foundation students to help develop their gross motor skills
- Creating Alien Rocks to support the Foundation and Junior students to explore the school yard
They have now identified Four Areas of Improvement which they would like to lead for the rest of the year:
- Sport and Health
- Culture, Art and World Connections
- Environment and Sustainability
- Student Support and Wellbeing
During Term Two Week Two the grade 5/6 students that are interested will be officially interviewed for a position on one of these teams. If your child is interested in applying, please help them prepare for their application over the holidays. The application can be found below –
Student Voice Application Form.
We are looking forward to hearing their wonderful ideas!
With kindness,
Jenny, Edith, Deb, Ernesto and Tom N (Student Voice Action Team Facilitators)
