OSHC Update

Wominjeka Everyone, 

Reminders:

• Public holiday – Anzac day 25th of April.

OSHC will be operating from Tuesday the 26th of April from 7-8:45am and 3:30-6pm

• Curriculum days: 9th and 10th of June 

OSHC will provide All Day OSHC from 7:30am -6pm

Costs: $85 before Child Care Subsidy

More information will be available in Term 2

BNWPS OSHC QIP (Quality Improvement Plan):

OSHC team have identified another are of improvement: Educational program and practice.

Standard 1.2.: Educators facilitate and extend each child’s learning and development.

1.2.1 Intentional Teaching – Educators are deliberate, purposeful, and thoughtful in their decisions and actions.

Currently, we are working on improving Roll Call Transitions to provide learning opportunities during transition.

Science Incursions:

We thank Charlie and Dianne for providing amazing Science incursions during Term 1.

We hope to see them again later in the year.

Meantime Brianna will run Science Club for Term 2 – watch this space.

Sewing Club:

We are very excited to announce that we are bring back sewing club on Tuesdays – this is one of our popular activities that students love and you will be surprised how many things will learn!

PROGRAM For week 1 of Term 2:

(*) a variety of cereals is offered (porridge, corn flakes, weet-bix, rice balls) and a selection of toast (wholemeal bread or fruit toast) with spreads (jam, butter, nuttlex or vegemite) is available every morning

(**) fruit and vegetable platters are offered every afternoon
