Bucket Filling at BNWPS

The Cultural Connections team, along with Craft Club, have been preparing buckets that will be used to collect litter from our school grounds. This is a new waste management initiative beginning next term. It coincides with our whole school’s Inquiry theme of sustainability. Helping care for Country colourful buckets will be filled with rubbish collected regularly by students with their classroom teachers from the oval, woodlands, playground, STELA, basketball court and undercover areas. This rubbish will then be separated into the correct classroom bins including Blue for paper recycling, Yellow for mixed recycling, White for soft plastics and Red being landfill.
If you would like to join us in our Care for Country Bucket Filling initiative please decorate a plastic bucket during the school break and bring it along to school for the start of Term 2.
Thank you!
