Happy Jelly Bean day!

It was a special ‘welcome back’ for Year 7 students on Tuesday! Students were delighted when the start of Term 2 was also marked as Jelly Bean Day on Miss Ta and Mrs Witt’s events calendar.

Glucojel Jelly Beans are usually the popular, sweet antidote when unwell. But, this year, thanks to the generous support from Glucojel, our Year 7 students were able to brighten their start to Term 2 with a delicious treat!

Glucojel Jelly Beans are made in Victoria and were first released in 1941. They can be purchased in almost every pharmacy – usually located near the front counter. Unlike other jelly beans, Glucojel are made from glucose, the form of sugar most easily absorbed into the blood stream. It’s about time Jelly Bean Day made it onto the MGSC calendar!

We are very grateful for Glucojel’s general donation. Thank You GLUCOJEL

Uniform

A reminder to all students that in April and May, you may wear either the summer or winter uniform. Blue socks must be worn with the summer dress and no scarves should be worn with the summer uniform. If you do not have a uniform item, you need to come to the JLC office for a uniform pass. Please be reminded that nail polish, fake nails and bright hair is not part of the uniform at MGSC and you will be asked to remove this by your teachers.

Arriving on time

It is important that all students are arriving at school with enough time to prepare and arrive at their classes so they are able to engage in the entirety of the lesson. We understand that at times, there may be things beyond your control,  however, if students are late for school three times, they will receive an afterschool detention. Student managers will be monitoring this and will contact parents if this is the case.
