Book Chat

We could not be happier to see our parent volunteers join us once again to share in the Book Chat sessions this term. They were pleasantly surprised at the depth of understanding and wonderings the students shared in their small group discussions. 

This year has seen more parents join the ranks and we couldn’t be more excited! Our Year 4s also rose to the occasion as they experienced Book Chat for the first time. There were students who hugged their books, ones that read them more than once, and others who wrote so many post-it notes it was impossible to get through them all! 

Our aim has always been to develop a love for reading and for each child to have that golden experience of finding that book that stays with them for a lifetime as the BEST BOOK EVER!

We’ve done just that.
