From the College Principal

Returning to school in 2022 brought much relief to our community as students, staff and families donned their mask's and made for The Lakes. The excitement and anticipation for a year of learning opportunities was evident in the smiles and greetings, high fives, hugs, and knuckles. Appreciating the freedom of the grounds, being able to play on courts and just enjoy each other was amazing.

  • The return of sport in schools
  • Pathways and active work placement for senior students
  • Year 7 Camp
  • Hands on and project-based learning in action
  • The mural on the Primary wall

Term 1 has had its challenges but together we are getting there. Modelling of community values and acceptable boundaries are crucial as we navigate our way through, Covid-19, flood, fire and conflict. Talk to your families and make them feel safe.

I will be taking extended leave commencing in Week 2 of next Term with Bill acting College Principal who together with Marcus and Bonnie will lead our school forward. Wishing you a safe and happy holiday and I look forward to you returning for more active and engaging learning.
