We are really pleased with the way we have been able to navigate our way through the first term of this year. It wasn’t straightforward, particularly given the previous two years with COVID disruptions and the prevalence of Remote and Flexible Learning. We didn’t have formal periods of learning from home this term but we did have students and staff isolating throughout the term. We can be proud of the way in which families, staff and students have all been able to manage these challenges. I think everyone has earned a well-deserved break.
We have been able to achieve a great deal in and out of the classroom over the start of the year. Term One is always action-packed, with Swimming, Athletics, the Year 7 Camp, general excursions, as well as, most importantly, the teaching and learning program. We have our Year 6 into Year 7 Information Evening on Thursday of our final week and our Cross Country on the last day of term, followed by a sausage sizzle. We also have ANZAC day before we return from holidays. As usual, we will have staff and student leaders from our school present at the ceremonies in Beaufort and Skipton.
Have a safe and relaxing holiday and we look forward to seeing you next term.
