AFL Cup

Our senior netball team played in the AFL Cup on Monday night. The girls fought hard, but went down to a strong Emmanuel side 25 to 39. They redeemed themselves with a strong finish against Brauer, winning 42 to 30.

SSV Golf Competition

On Tuesday, students from Warrnambool College competed in the School Sports Victoria Schools event at Port Fairy Golf Club. We had nine golfers enter the competition with a range of abilities, some were even competing for the first time. Standout performers on the day were Tayne Perry who finished second in the junior competition and Noah Best who finished third in the senior section. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes who made the event happen and the boys for participating in the event, the way you conducted yourselves on the course was first class.

Greater Western Region Swimming

12 Warrnambool College students competed in GWR swimming today. They were excellent representatives of the school as they displayed great sportsmanship and humility.

We also had some fantastic results:

Carla Van Zyl: 1st in the freestyle, backstroke and butterfly

Noah Best: 1st in the backstroke

Mikayla Bond: 2nd in the Butterfly

Hannah Van Zyl: 3rd in the Breaststroke

Flynn Rowe: 3rd in the breaststroke

14 yo Boys: 3rd in freestyle relay

15 yo Girls: 1st in freestyle relay
