So please send me your thoughts via email (you can use compass for this). Additionally, check compass for BAND alerts. We will have our own Onenote notebook very soon where practice files and music will be stored.

Performing Arts/ CREATE Performance Update

On Friday Feb 23rd I had the pleasure of attending a fabulous show as a guest audience member for one of our talented Beaumaris SC

students. Matthew Bishop brought the character Smee from ‘Peter Pan’ to life with stand-out comic timing and impressive acting skills – well done Matthew!

A special thank you to our parents Simon & Maria who donated a cello to the school music program at the beginning of Term 1. I look forward to using the cello

with the CREATE – Performance students at the beginning of next term when we explore different instrument families from around the world.

In CREATE – Performance, students have been working well to learn and apply a range of skills in the  performing arts. This term’s activities include a particular focus on the connection between music, movement and character. Students have also begun lunchtime Vocal Group and Band rehearsals and I am very excited to be working with so many enthusiastic and optimistic students! Ms A-G.
