Our Eucharist journey continues with the students learning about the signs and symbols of the Eucharist, the intricacies of the Eucharistic celebration and the tradition of the sacrament. We continue to pray for these students as the prepare to  receive their First Eucharist.

Refugee Week

This week marks Australian Catholic Office's Refugee Week. The Australian Catholic Office's Refugee Week provides an opportunity for the Australian public to celebrate the immense courage, resilience and valuable contributions made by refugees to Australian society. For many this week provides an opportunity to meet and converse with a refugee for the first time.

Storytelling provides a great way to do this. Every refugee seeking safety brings their own story of why they left home, their journey and in some cases finding, safety in Australia. The sharing of stories is an opportunity to not only remember and honor their journey but also to educate the Australian community to better understand the courage and contribution that refugees make.
