Thank you to everyone who found overdue Library books during the holidays and returned them this week.  It was great to get them back. 

We are still after any donations of skirt hangers for the Big Books, if you have any lying around, and a thank you to those who have popped some into the tub already!!

Some Exciting News…

Due to be released next Tuesday 23rd July is the latest instalment of the Treehouse Story Books.  Andy and Terry are now up to 117 storeys…that poor tree!!

“Andy and Terry's amazing treehouse now has 13 new storeys, including a tiny-horse level, a pyjama-party room, an Underpants Museum, a photo-bombing booth, a waiting room, a Door of Doom, a circus, a giant-fighting-robot arena, a traffic school, a water-ski park filled with flesh-eating piranhas and a treehouse visitor centre with a 24-hour information desk, a penguin-powered flying treehouse tour bus and a gift shop.

Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up!”

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

• The Challenge is open to all Victorian children from birth to Year 10 in recognition of the importance of reading for literacy development. It is not a competition; but a personal challenge for children to read a set number of books by 6 September 2019.
• Children from Prep to Year 2 are encouraged to read or ‘experience’ 30 books with their parents and teachers. Children from Year 3 to Year 10 are challenged to read 15 books.
• All children who meet the Challenge will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the Victorian Premier and former Premiers.

• Option A: check your classroom day/time for returning books.
• Option B: tub outside the library door so books can be returned at any time.
