Waverley East Sports Association Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to all students who competed at the Waverley East Sports Association (WESA) Swimming Carnival. What a great day of competition with our swimmers starring, encouraging and supporting! A thank you goes to staff and parents who helped out and supported on the day. There was great excitement at the end of the event when Camelot Rise PS were announced winners of the main pool competition. This was the first time for many years. Go Camelot! Good luck to all students who will now go on to compete at the Monash Waverley Division Carnival on Tuesday 3rd March at Monash Recreation Centre.

Level 1/2 Healthy Snack Attack Incursion

Last Wednesday 26th February, the Level 1 and 2 students participated in some fun and interactive activities about making good snack choices that contribute to meeting their daily needs. Activities included identifying the 5 food groups, traffic light snacks to categorise food and drinks as green (best choice), orange (ok choice) or red (sometimes food), a sensory blindfolded game to identify fruit through taste and smell and then a yummy fresh fruit platter to share.
