New SMART boards

We were excited over the summer break to complete the upgrade of our classroom interactive whiteboard technology - a long held fundraising target.

After many years, the existing SMART boards in each learning space had reached the end of their lives - many had stopped working altogether and others were heading downhill fast.

After a lengthy process of exploring the many different options on the market, the school staff took the decision to upgrade to the latest SMART interactive panels as this allows us to build upon our existing resources, skills and understanding with the devices and software.

Students have loved exploring the new classroom technology and staff members have embarked on extensive professional development to allow them to use the boards as a source of greater engagement and to spark curiosity and deeper learning. We are looking forward to a curriculum day later in the year with the SMART training team.
