SKiPPS Fete 2020

The Fete is almost here hope you are looking forward to it as much as I am.

We heavily rely on whole of school volunteering  to make the day work so make sure you get on board and donate an hour or Two! Follow this link to choose a spot on the roster 

It is going to be a  great day with an exciting line-up onstage to entertain us.  There will be a fabulous bake-off competition and a rowing challenge and of course there will also be lots of food and rides and fun stalls.

Ride tickets for the fete can still be bought here and as well as on the day we will sell them at Jazz in the Park too.

The fete committee are putting in the final touches and there are a few areas still needing input from all of you. We can’t say often enough that this is an everyone in event, that is the only way for it to be really successful is to take a look at the below and see what you can contribute.

TOYS – did you do a clean up in Jan? Did Santa bring a few new things and so you need to move a few pre-loved things on to another home? If so, please donate them to the fete. The toy stall is always much loved by the kids and we don’t have as much as the last few years so let’s have a go at bringing those last few things in. LUCKY JARS – Another popular stall but again not enough to make it great. Small treasures in a  decorated jar.  No  food but some ideas include Stickers, pencils, plastic toys, rubber balls, small yo yo's, figures, tattoo's, marbles, whistles, slinky's, clip in coloured hair bands, hair clips, cars (hot wheels), go for a theme craft theme, games theme, trinkets, hairdo items…your odds and ends can be someone’s lucky jar. SILENT AUCTION – yep all hands-on deck. Think about your networks and see if there is anyone who may donate. At this stage we have a small amount and are keen for more. For any queries contact Ilaria M on ilaria.miglioranza@gmail.com 

CAKE STALL – you will receive information about the stall home in bags in 2 weeks, so this is just a heads up. The fete cake stall is a little different to usual we need lots of variety and we will be selling to the public as well as our school community. We are also going to have a baking competition with prizes in a variety of categories – more on Konnective soon.
