WELCOME BACK

This week, Athol Road Primary School welcomes Ms Nigro back after her Acting Principal role in Term 1 at a local school and 3 weeks of well-earned leave. 

Upon my leave and subsequent retirement on Friday, 9th June, Ms Nigro will take over the role of Acting Principal. 

EDUCATION WEEK

This week is Education Week. The highlight of Education Week for students, staff and parents/carers at ARPS is Twilight School on Thursday, 18th May. 

• School starts at 12.30pm – students must have lunch BEFORE coming to school 
• School ends at 7.00pm – parents must be at school at 7.00pm to pick up their children

Parents are warmly invited to attend:     

Open Learning Spaces 12:40pm – 2:30pm for Foundation – Year 2

                                                3:00pm – 4:30pm for Year 3 – 6

House Sports on the oval or in the hall, depending on the weather

                                                2:40pm – 2:30pm for Year 3 - 6

                                                3.00pm – 4.30pm for Foundation – Year 2

Recess                                 2:30pm – 3:00pm - Family Picnic BYO food

Concert                               5:30pm – 6:40pm

                                                Parents/carers are invited to watch their child/ren perform! 

Glow Bonanza                  6.40pm – 6.50pm   

                                               Year 3 – 6 students on front oval

                                               Year 1/2 students on back oval with large basketball court light on

                                               Foundation students remain in the hall following the concert

NOTE: Parents/carers must be at school by 7.00pm to pick up their child/ren
