We extend our warmest congratulations to all the winners of the highly anticipated GEM Awards 2023. This year's competition was fierce, and each person showcased immense dedication and perseverance in navigating a challenging property market.
As we look forward to sharing the full winner list, we are pleased to present the Top Team of 2023 to Team Yip from FN Collective (Johnsonville).
Top Salesperson of the Year was awarded to Jamie Gemmell from FN New Plymouth, who made a video reacting to her win in her absence.
Top Rookie of the Year was taken out by Leigh Jackson from FN Gore for her amazing achievements over the year.
Congratulations once again to all the winners, and all attendees had a great time celebrating the success of our colleagues in Christchurch
The Kiwi team had a great time in Hobart for the Australian Conference, where they joined over 600 delegates from First National to network, take part in festivities and learn with the Australian membership.
Standouts included the Housing Minister of Australia Hon. Julie Collins MP addressing the FN Convention, followed by the Shadow Housing Minister of Australia Hon. Michael Sukkar.
Both shared their priorities which shape policy and the country, providing valuable insights and top-level commentary for the real estate industry. The Housing Minister's address was also the first post-budget speech she had made.

The New Zealand team showcased the classic Kiwi small-yet-mighty spirit by emerging victorious in the jandal-throwing competition at The Great Aussie BBQ event on Day 3.
'It was awesome seeing Hobart dominated by First National. It was a full-on week but it was great fun, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. I'm still swapping pictures and videos with all the people I met, and it's amazing the amount of work that goes behind the scenes.'

Exciting news was revealed in Hobart, with the announcement of the 2024 Convention being held in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia!
