Adrian Y. - 1/2B

This award goes to Adrian for his consistent effort in focusing on class discussions and learning tasks this week. Adrian has been working hard to show his HEART values, and I am impressed with his determination to succeed this week. Your hard work is noticeable in the quality of your work. Keep it up Adrian!  

Patrick S. - 1/2C

This award goes to Patrick for his wonderful work in Maths! Patrick has been working very hard during our Time unit. He has enthusiastically participated in class conversations and shared his thinking with his peers. Patrick also put a lot of effort into using his knowledge of time to plan a pretend birthday party. Well done Patrick! Keep up the great work!

Violet V.  - 1/2R

Congratulations Violet for reaching 100 nights of reading! This is a wonderful achievement and a testament of how hard you have been working. Your effort this term hasn’t gone unnoticed. Well done and keep up the great work! 

Harry B.  - 3/4B

This award goes to Harry for showing EFFORT in his learning. When learning about rotating shapes, Harry was able to make the connection between a 90 degree and a quarter turn, as well as a 270 degree and a three quarter turn. Great work Harry!

Hannah Du - 3/4K

This award goes to Hannah for the fantastic symmetrical picture she created. Hannah the attention to detail that you showed in your drawing to ensure that is was symmetrical amazed not only me, but our whole class. Well done, you should be very proud of your work. 

Kaitlyn T. - 3/4S

This award goes to Kaitlyn for putting in her best effort with her writing this week. Kaitlyn has used the strategy, ‘Think, Say, Write’ to help her structure her sentences and she has placed the letters more accurately in the spaces of her lines. Keep up the great work, Kaitlyn.

Congratulations on a great week Levy. I was really pleased with your work in Mathematics this week. You persisted with finding the perimeter and area of 2D shapes, seeing success towards the end of the lesson which was great reward for your effort. I have also enjoyed watching you participate and contribute during the MAT Program over the past fortnight. You should be proud of your week Levy.

This week in reading, Marquez has shown an exceptional understanding of the difference between literal and implied information. He explained this perfectly to the class and used his understanding to make deep inferences. Well done Marquez. Keep up the excellent work!

This award goes to Milla for her ‘Striving for Excellence’ attitude. After finishing her art, Milla listened to feedback before repainting her tree stump with darker colours to enhance the texture marks she had created. Fantastic work Milla. Your rosella in a forest art piece is brilliant!

Tommy P. - Science
