This award is presented to Samuel for being a Foundation Super STAR! Samuel is a very caring and kind student who tries very hard to always show his HEART values. Samuel is gaining confidence in his ability to complete set tasks which makes me so proud. I am so glad you are in my class Samuel and keep up all the great work you are doing!

Alyrah W. - 1/2B

Alyrah is a considerate and caring member of 1/2B who is always looking to help others. Her kind and accepting nature makes everyone feel welcome in the classroom, and you can always find her with a smile on her face. Alyrah always puts effort into learning tasks and tries her best. Great job Alyrah!

Aria K. - 1/2C

This award goes to Aria for making a big effort in Writing. Aria has been carefully listening to the sounds and using the words around the room to help her with her spelling. She has also been having a go before asking for help and checking over her work once she has finished. Well done Aria! Keep it up!

Congratulations Nick for demonstrating enthusiasm and diligence while compiling his persuasive piece. Your efforts this term hasn’t gone unnoticed. Well done and keep up the great work! 

Bella L.  - 3/4B

This award goes to Bella for showing the HEART value of Excellence. This week she has worked hard to publish her information report on guinea pigs using PowerPoint. Bella typed her work into text boxes that she carefully arranged on her slide to make it visually appealing. She should be very proud of her work!

Arian F. - 3/4K

This award goes to Arian for the many examples of symmetry he was able to find around the school and in our classroom. After learning how to use a mirror to help find the line of symmetry in shapes and was able to explain his interesting findings to the grade. Well done Arian - you’re quite the mathematician!

Piper W. - 3/4S

This award goes to Piper for the interesting information report she has written about Taylor Swift. Piper organised her factual information into subheadings and included interesting visual features to add details to her writing. Well done Piper.

Lachlan S. - 5/6B

This award has been a long time coming Lachlan. I have admired your quick transitions between school programs for a term and a half now. You always tell me when and where you need to be, knowing how to get straight on task when you return. This shows the responsibility you take for your own learning. Keep up the great work and maturity Lachlan.

Lily is to be congratulated for her efforts during Writing this week as she has developed and applied her knowledge of simple, compound and complex sentences to her persuasive writing. Lily, you have an impressive vocabulary and style of writing. Congratulations!

Mia W. - 5/6W

This award goes to Mia for her hardworking effort in Writing. This week, Mia has demonstrated a good understanding of the PEEL structure and that she can identify relevant stakeholders, her target audience and use a variety of persuasive devices to persuade her reader. Wonderful effort Mia! I am very proud to be your teacher.

Congratulations Charlotte. You always try your best in music and have been an excellent helper setting up and packing away instruments.

Elouise J. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Elouise for her wonderful effort when making a print of a minibeast. Elouise carefully cut and arranged foam pieces to create a printing plate of a scorpion. After attentively watching a demonstration, she capably followed the procedure which resulted in a  fantastic piece of art. Brilliant work Elouise!

Eason C. - Science

This award goes to Eason for mature attitude he takes towards his science lessons. Eason pays careful attention to the instructions given and always completes his experiments to the best of his ability. He makes sure all member of his group are included and completes his work to a very high standard. Great job Eason, keep up this wonderful scientific attitude.

Liam H. - Physical Education

Jordan R. - Mandarin
