Wear It Yellow

As part of our National Reconciliation Week this year, on Friday 2nd June we are encouraging all students and teachers to take part in a yellow-themed casual dress day to raise funds for a First Nations organisation, Children’s Ground. The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2023 is ‘Be a voice for generations.’

This theme encourages all Australians to be a voice for reconciliation in tangible ways in our everyday lives – where we live, work and play. That is why our school has chosen to participate in Children’s Ground’s ‘Wear It Yellow’ day. As part of ‘Wear It Yellow Day’, students will engage with National Reconciliation Week learning materials and have vibrant discussions about First Nations culture and history.

Clothing Donations

If you have any spare uniform that your young person has outgrown or no longer requires, please consider donating it to the school. We always have a need for back up uniform and our stock levels have run quite low. We will accept any items but are particularly low on pants and shorts

Compass Kiosk

Please remember you must use the Compass Kiosk in the office to sign your young person in if they arrive any time after 9am. The same applies if they are collected before 2:45pm. Failure to use the kiosk results in unexplained absences for your young person.

When dropping off touch the main screen> Select Parent Drop Off> Search for the student name> Indicate who is dropping/collecting> Select an attendance reason i.e. medical appointment> Take your receipt

If you are unsure of this process, please ask the admin team for help - they are happy to assist you.

Phone calls for late bus changes

Please be sure to notify the school well in advance if your young person will not be taking their afternoon bus as planned. We ask that you either put a note in your student's communication diary or call the office before 2:20pm. While we try our best, office staff may not be able to facilitate these requests during the rush of the busy pick up period.
