Student Achievements
Great news for one of our St Helena's swimmers, with Zaylee Sanders selected in the School Sport WA team to compete in Sydney in August. Part of our unbeatable Year 5 girls at the recent interschool carnival, Zaylee has made it through and will be competing in backstroke and freestyle events.
These results are taken from the April end of season state championships, where Zaylee picked up bronze in the 100 metre backstroke amongst three other top 5 finishes. We are proud to have Zaylee representing St Helena's and look forward to following her results.
On Thursday the 18th of May, Emma took part in the All Schools Cross Country Championship at UWA Sports Park.
Emma was excited and nervous, but eager to see how she would go.It was a tough start on the line with lots of jostling for positions, then a steep hill not far into the race which was a challenge! But Emma was up for it and ran as hard as she could - the only way she knows how!
Emma did an amazing job against some great runners and finished 4th in the 10 year old Girls division.Congratulations Emma!
