Eisteddfod Success
Last week students in K-6 competed in the Small Schools Choir section of the Gunnedah Music Eisteddfod and were awarded first place for their rendition of 'Colours of the Wind' by composer, Alan Menken. "Colours of the Wind" was the first song written for the movie, Pocahontas. Thank you to Sandy Clarke for all the hard work she has done to prepare our students for the Eisteddfod and to Miss Tahlia Morrissey for conducting.
Adjudicator's Remarks:
Lovely choice of song (first note not audible - too low).
Tuneful singing - some very lovely voices, with good pitch.
Good dynamic variation.
Very enjoyable.
Well done!
