Year 4 News

The Year 4 Students have been learning how to write an Information Report. They gather information about their mothers and learn a lot of facts about them. The students then wrote an Information Report about their mums for Mother's Day. Both parents and child really enjoyed the time spent together gathering the information that was required. Here are some examples of the finished product.

                    My Mother, Miss Ruse

Introduction:

Miss Ruse is an amazing mother from Victoria, Australia. Miss Ruse works all day to make sure her children are in good hands. In this information report you will learn about her appearance, job, foods she likes to eat, hobbies and things she likes to do with me. So let’s take a closer look at Miss Ruse.

Appearance:

Miss Ruse is a supportive mother. She has warm brown hair and light hazel eyes. She often wears comfortable jeans, and a jumper while working or going out to dinner. Miss Ruse has a very thin lip you can’t really see them. For special occasions Miss Ruse wears her heels and a dress.

Jobs:

Miss Ruse’s most important job is taking care of her three children. She is a project manager at cfa. She makes sure everyone has a person to report to. Miss Ruse works hard to care for her children and cats in any way she can. Miss Ruse works hard to look after her family.

Food:

Miss Ruse love’s to cook for her family and friends. Miss Ruse likes to cook chicken burgers with mac and cheese. One of her favourite things to eat is honey comb. One of her favorite fast food restaurants is KFC. Miss Ruse buys her food from parkmore, she takes pride when making her food.

Hobbies:

When Miss Ruse is not looking after her family and not working she is doing things she love’s.

One of her favourite hobbies is escape rooms and fishing. She also likes traveling all around the world like Hong Kong, New Zealand and much more. Miss Ruse likes to read books about people or about places. Miss Ruse is able to express her creativity with a colouring book. Miss Ruse likes to take a break from her daily routine.

Activities my mother does with me:

Miss Ruse loves spending time with her children and enjoys doing activities with her children. One of her favourite things to do with her children all around the world where they can explore and play. She also enjoys making lego and teaching me how to make cars and buildings. She likes reading with me and teaching me the meaning of words. Miss Ruse encourages her children to follow their sports dreams.

Conclusion:

 Introduction

Meet Mrs Luu, she is a loving and caring mother from Saigon Vietnam. Mrs Luu now lives in Sky Way Victoria. Mrs Luu works hard to ensure her family is happy and healthy. In This information report you'll learn all about her hobbies, traits, appearance, and things she likes to do. Take a closer look at Mrs Luu’s life and how important and what makes her such a special mother. After reading this you could learn what a great mother she is.

Appearance

Mrs Luu has long brown silk-like hair, she likes to wear comfortable clothes everyday at home or work sometimes but sometimes wears a dress to events or parties. She regularly wears pants and a shirt. She wears a thick jacket if it's cold outside.

Job

Mrs Luu tries hard to support her family by working 5 days a week. She works as a dentist assistant. He has one of the most important jobs as a mother of 3. As a mother she has to cook, work and take care of her family. She always tries to support by working and taking care of her family.

Food

Mrs Luu started cooking at a young age for her and her brother. She loves cooking and some of her favourite foods are pho and stir fry vegetables. As a child she loved pho and her parents always made it. She is now a vegetarian and enjoys vegetables and tofu.

Activities with me

Mrs Luu loves spending time with her children. She sometimes comes along when her children go bike riding to the park. She encourages her children to go outside to help her with weeding or harvesting vegetables and fruit. Mrs Luu always helps her children with homework to ensure they had it in on time.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Mrs Luu is a loving and caring mother. She is a wonderful example of a great mother. She works hard to support her family. She spends a lot of time with her family. Meet Mrs Shanika, a kind mother from Colombo, Sri Lanka. She lives in Keysborough, Victoria now. Mrs Shanika, works really hard to take care of her family. In this information report, we will experience her Appearance, Jobs, Food she likes, and Activities she likes to do. So let's read this report and learn about Mrs Shanika’s life and learn more about her.

Appearance:

Mrs Shanika, is a wonderful mother. She has long black hair and brown eyes. For special occasions, she wears a dress called a ‘gowmac’. It is a traditional Sri Lankan dress. Mrs Shanika, always smiles at people who smile at her. Mrs Shanika is a very kind and generous person.

Jobs:

Mrs Shanika’s most important job is taking care of her family. She cooks delicious meals for dinner. Mrs Shanika, sometimes helps her husband with his work. She is mainly a housewife because she cleans the house. She helps anyone who needs help. She is always ready to help the community and her family.

 Foods:

Mrs Shanika loves all types of food. She makes a lot of traditional sweets. One of her most favorite type of food is rice and curry. When she goes to coles, she buys books containing different types of food. Sometimes, she makes the same food for dinner. The food is very delicious. 

Hobbies:

Mrs Shanika has a lot of hobbies. She mostly likes to bake cakes when she gets cake orders. She always walks in the park. Mrs Shanika, loves to listen to Sri Lankan music. She sometimes listens to it when she is driving the car. Mr Shanika loves to go to Bunnings and buy seeds of different plants. 

Activities she likes to do with me:

Mrs Shanika loves to spend her time with her two children. She loves to play badminton, read books and dance with her children. Sometimes, Mrs Shanika lets her children help her and learn the procedure to make food. Especially, she shows her children how to make traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Mrs Shanika tells and shows her children Sri Lankan stories.

Conclusion :

Introduction:

Meet Mrs. O’hehir, a half Australian woman that lives in Keysborough, Victoria. This mother plays a special part of her family, she provides food and works hard every day to pay for food and bills. She was born on the seventeenth of December 1985. As I talk about Mrs O’hehir, you’ll learn about her favorite food, hobbies and much much more.

Appearance:

Mrs. O’hehir has a beautiful smile. She has light brown eyes and dark brown hair, blushing cheeks and 1 big bun, medium eyes and a large nose, smooth eyebrows and long eyelashes, a sweet voice and a circle head. Mrs. O’hehir wears glasses, but she only wears glasses when she reads, writes, and types. Her glasses are light and blurry, it has a little bit of gold and a little bit of silver. Mrs. O’hehir has 2 different smiles, 1 for a picture and 1 when she laughs. Also, Mrs. O’hehir wears makeup but only for special occasions. 

Jobs:

Mrs. O’hehir has 2 jobs and works hard 5 to 7 days a week. Her first job is a project manager at Monash Health. Sometimes she gets up really early to do something important like opening up a hospital or the builder is only available that early. Apart from that, her other job is being a mother, she works so hard to make sure her kids are healthy children and she just wants a rest but she never gives up. 

 Hobbies:

Mrs. O'hehirs favorite hobby is going to the gym. She goes to the gym 4 days a week. She does things like boxing, running and much, much more. She also loves spending time with her kids. They do things like drawing and cooking. 

Food:

Mrs. O’hehir is an amazing cook. She makes all kinds of foods. Mrs. O’hehirs favorite food is steak. Sometimes, when she makes food, her kids eat instead of her, so she makes herself something else to eat.

Activities Mum does with me:

Mrs. O’hehir loves playing games with her kids. She does all kinds of activities and sports with them. Sometimes they take the dog for a walk and they all play in the park. When it's rainy, they do indoor activities. They play board games, they tell jokes and they watch movies with popcorn.

Conclusion:

To conclude, Mrs. O’hehir is an amazing mother with cold hands and a warm heart. She has raised her children to be strong and independent. The reasons I’ve explained shows that Mrs. O’hehir is a loving and hard working mother. So thank you Mrs. O’hehir, thanks for being such a good mother, thanks for being such a good friend.
