Future Chef – here he comes

A shout out to Stefan Milisavljevic from McCormack 4.

As part of his Year 11 VCE-VM, Stefan is studying VET Certificates in both Cookery & Hospitality.

Recently, Stefan has been selected to participate in the State Culinary Competition.

On top of his Wednesday VET studies, Stefan spends four and a half hours with the trainers at St John’s Graduates Restaurant Training Facility to further hone his skills. We look forward to hearing all about the competition in late June.

VCAL Nazarene pops in at SCOPE’s Balloon Football

It was a lovely surprise to catch up with 2021 alumnus Tyra Dale at SCOPE’s Southern Balloon Football League last week.

Tyra supported the league as a Team Manager as part of Nazareth’s VCAL Program.

Tyra undertook VET Certificates II and III in Community Services in Years 11 & 12. After a GAP year, she furthered her studies and now has great job satisfaction in her role as a Disability Support Worker. We are so proud of Tyra’s achievement and her desire to make other people’s lives more fulfilling. With Tyra’s happy disposition, kind heart, common sense, initiative and goodwill, she is perfect for this people centered role.
