EISM Year 7 Girls Softball & Boys Indoor Cricket Gala Day

Well done to our Year 7 students who participated in the EISM Year 7 Girls Softball and Boys Indoor Cricket Gala Day, which was held on Wednesday 30th of October.

Girls Softball

Our team got off to a great start, with a thrilling 11-10 run win over Rudolf Steiner in Round 1. In the Quarter finals and Consolation final we had narrow losses to Kilvington and Kingswood.

The team improved with every match, particularly in the areas of batting, catching and strategic decision making. Overall the Girls had a fun day along with further refining their Softball skills, which will be of benefit in future years.

Joanna Tsoulakos: batting and throwing

Arietta Apostolopoulos: pitching

Boys Indoor Cricket

The Boys took a while to adjust to the Indoor Cricket format, and as a result, suffered some early losses. Similar to the Girls, the Boys improved their batting, bowling and fielding with every match. They finished the day strongly with a solid 72 to 32 run win over Rudolf Steiner.
