Melbourne International Film Festival Excursion
Last Friday, 5th August, a group of 40 students drawn from Extension Year 8 and Elective Year 9 French classes attended the Melbourne International Film Festival.
We saw the award winning animated historo-drama called 'Adama'. It followed the journey of an 11 year old African boy travelling from his native home to WW1 Europe in search of his older brother who is serving in the French army. In addition to the film, we went to St. Paul's Cathedral and Flinders Street Station to see European inspired architecture, as well as the Paris end of Collins Street. The students were a pleasure to chaperone and seemed to enjoy the day.

Drop Off & Pick Up
The School would like to remind all families that the office does not officially open until 8.30am and yard duty does not take place until 8.40pm. Students dropped off prior to these times remain the responsibility of their respective families.
We also kindly request that families pick up children promptly at the end of the day and by no later than 4.00pm. Junior School students who have not been collected by 3.45pm will be taken to the After School
Care Service which will be held in the M Block. It will then be necessary for parents to collect their child or children from the service. Please note that charges may apply. Should an emergency occur and there is a valid reason for a late pick up, please kindly inform the school
LEAD Parent Satisfaction Survey
The school is taking part in the 2016 Independent Schools Victoria Parent Satisfaction Survey. As your opinion is valuable to us, we invite all parents to participate in this survey.
The aim of the survey is to gain general feedback and understand your perceptions regarding the quality of your child’s educational experience with the school.
The information obtained will be used by us to evaluate parent opinion, in order to improve the quality of education at the school for students, and will enable benchmarking of the school against other Independent schools.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The survey closes on August 26.
Links for the survey have been sent home to all families via email and Tiqbiz this week. A reminder to check your spam folders if the email is not in your inbox.
