STUDENT LEADERS

School Captains

After many school assessed coursework, the VCE’s have shown some remarkable results which reflect the dedication among the year level. We are well and truly looking forward to the much deserving upcoming Term 1 Easter holidays!

The VCE Outdoor Ed classes have recently partaken in an informative camp to Waratah Bay where they were looking closely at environmental studies and the conservation of the environment. The sun was out for a great surfing experience, alongside a hike to the top of Mount Bishop to experience the view from one of Victoria’s oldest natural parks and the vast coastal wilderness of Wilsons Promontory.

Overall, across all year levels it has been a very successful term and great way start to a New Year! We hope that all the Year 7’s are feeling comfortable and settling well into Lilydale High School.

We wish you all a safe and very happy holiday! Make sure you stay on top of your work and keep studying; Beginning with the end in mind!

Happy Easter!

Year 11 Captains

In the past two weeks, Year 11 students have completed the majority of their SACs and are receiving outstanding results. Good luck to those who still have SACs to undertake.

Peer Support has come to an end, whilst 3 Way Conferences took place, and we have also been fortunate to have a long weekend to help us all come back to school ready to smash out the last 8 days of Term 1.

We would like to commend the Year 11 students on their fantastic first term of VCE and wish them a safe Easter break.

We are looking forward to seeing you all back here in Term 2!

Year 10 Captains

Dear friends and students, throughout these last 2 weeks we have had a few things take place around the school. We started with a long weekend, thanks to Labour Day on Monday which I'm sure all of the students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed.

On Thursday 17 March, we had another 'bottom half free dress day' to help raise money for the 'Worlds Greatest Shave' where our very own Ms Metcalfe and Ms Mogilewska will be shaving their heads to help raise money for the great cause.

Lastly we had our Grade 6/Year 7 Sports day on Tuesday 15 March, which the Year 10's ran exceptionally well and was a great day for all.

Year 8 Captains

Everyone in Year 8 this year has had a great term. We have all done excellently well in our CATs and OnDemand testing. The term has been short but we have all coped with the pressure well.

We hope everyone in Year 8 has an enjoyable last week in Term 1 and a very well deserved Easter holidays.
