If you would like me to call you, to talk about learning an instrument and any concerns, I would be happy to.

7.37 SEALP Music
Students from 7.37 have been learning about different musical instruments in class and recently made an instrument that could be performed to the rest of the class.
The instruments were membranophones, aerophones or chordophones.
Students rehearsed in small groups and performed on their instruments during Period 6 on Wednesday 9 March. What wonderful creative students we have in Music!
Next week, they will talk to the class about their instrument and make a presentation about the process they went through to make the instrument and how to make a good sound.

Tim Huddleston - 2016 Top Class
On Thursday 10 March, Tim Huddleston (Year 12) performed at the Top Class 2016 Concert at the Melbourne Recital Centre.
The aim of the concert was to showcase a representative sample of Victorian Music students who achieved outstanding grades in their October 2015 VCE Solo Performance examinations.
Tim performed the 1st movement of the Vaughan-Williams Tuba Concerto to such a superb level as to prompt a number of Music teachers and a leading Melbourne conductor (whose praise is difficult to earn) to especially remark to our Music department how impressed they were.
Well done Tim!
