CAREERS IN AGRICULTURE

Agriculture isn’t just farming- It is focussed on “the entire food chain, managing the environment and minimising the impact of human endeavours on natural resources”.

 

About 50% of all jobs in the agriculture industry are in capital cities. These jobs include environmental management, research, development, agribusiness and education.

 

Most people in agriculture work full time.

Details of the Science Experience program change each year but whether it’s an activity in forensic chemistry, geospatial science, botany, robotics, engineering or computer graphics, you will use your knowledge, curiosity, ingenuity, team-work, communication and planning skills to think, act and explore the world as a STEM professional.
