School Cricket Report

Kanga -24th Feb

The Strikers played against West Lakes Blue on Saturday morning. 

The team played very entertaining cricket, highlighted by great sportsmanship and some wonderful fielding.

The boys are continuing to improve each week and are outstanding representatives of the school values.

Kanga Blue 3rd March

The Largs Bay Strikers continued to demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship and school values when they played their third game of the season against Kilkenny Blue on Saturday morning.

The boys played very good cricket, and their skills and teamwork are improving each week.    Captain and vice-captain for the game were Ethan and Lachlan, and they both provided excellent leadership. Stanley, Kaleb, Tait, Patrick, Jack and Dash each played very well.

A great start from our C Grade and B Grade Cricket teams. Reports are that the players are enjoying the games and being really supportive of each other. Keep up the great work!

SAPSASA Swimming

Congratulations to the Largs Bay School students who attended the Port District SAPSASA Swimming Carnival last Tuesday. Largs Bay won the carnival overall, for the 4th time in 4 years. There were some outstanding efforts resulting in 15 Largs Bay students being selected in the upcoming State Swimming Carnival.

We wish them luck!

Port SAPSASA Swimming

On the 27th of February some Largs Bay students competed at the Port SAPSASA district swimming competition. The school finished first overall with 135 points. This beat the second placed team from OLV by 66 points. Many of the students progressed in to the district team. These students are BJ, Finnian, Suraya, Hunter, Ava, Liam, Willow, Noah, Imogen, Jack N, Jack T, Maddison, Jackson, Jade and Jake.

Well done to all the Largs Bay competitors.
