Congratulations to SBC D Grade 1 - DAV D Grade State Champions for 2018!

"That foreign aid should only be given to countries with good human rights records" made for a terrific Grand Final, with strong arguments being available to both teams.

 Elijah McEvoy, Lyndon Bulman and Lachlan Doyle made certain that no stone was left unturned in their quest for the title, all three debating with eloquence and depth far beyond their years - their efforts unanimously awarded the win against the their opponents from Frankston Secondary College.

The result followed a stellar finals series which capped off a very successful season for the team who also finished top of the D Grade Bayside DAV Division. Well done on this most significant achievement Elijah McEvoy, Lyndon Bulman, Lachlan Doyle, Tomas Cooling and Ben Martinelli, and their staff mentor, Mr Carl DeSouza.

Thank you to all who attended at Caulfield Grammar School  to support the St Bede's team - to the parents, grandparents and friends, to college staff members and to college Principal, Mr John Finn.
