New College Website

Last Friday, the College launched a new look website which we hope will help to promote the brilliant work of our staff and students. We have incorporated the promotional videos and photography from Hikari photography, resulting in a professional and user friendly site. Mental Health Week

A big thank you to all students and staff who participated in the activities during Mental Health week. Staff undertook a range of workshops and students signed up for lunch time activities. All activities were well attended and all students certainly got an insight into things we can do to ensure good mental health.

Modular Buildings

A timeline for the installation of our new modular buildings has been set. This project will see new modular buildings for Wellbeing and International programs, which are due for completion in time for the start of Term 2, 2019. These modular buildings will be addition to the planned new buildings and we have incorporated the architect’s colours and textures into the plan, to ensure the modular buildings compliment what is planned for the wider College.

The Wellbeing Centre will include an office for the Wellbeing Coordinator, an office for the School Nurse and other visiting professionals, a sensory room, large meeting room, kitchen and a full size classroom.

The new International Centre will have an Office for the International Student Coordinator, and a large Admin office with a small meeting room joining the two spaces together via sliding doors. There will be a large meeting area, complete with kitchen and kitchenette at either end. The meeting space is separated from a full size classroom via concertina doors, meaning the meeting area and classroom will predominantly function as one large space to accommodate the international students. Exciting times!
